About Us

About Us

Stuart Berman is part of a united front of eco conscious clothing brands whose practices, by degrees,

are tilting industry norms towards explosive transformation.

With waste around the world piling up and filling our oceans, upcycled fashion designers like Stuart Berman see clothing as a pinpoint opening to reduce the use of polyester (plastic) in production while Upcycling existing brands in ways no other industry can.

But with luxury clothing brands and materials still making their way to landfills and waterways around the world, the visible inaction of garment industry giants inspires Upcycled clothing boutiques like Stuart Berman to bridge the gap to conscious consumers

ready for change.

We take eco friendly apparel to the next level with an integrated process that turns distressed denim and sustainable materials into a canvas for fashionable products with no upper limit to production quality or designer potential. Through materials such as hemp, cotton, organic cotton and sustainable fabrics, we are able to repurpose clothes, Upcycle, and create fashionable apparel consistent with what people really want — a nod of approval from future generations.

Thanks for supporting us.

Reducing Plastic Pollution

The 80/20 Rule

As long as society remains reliant on plastic, its various forms will continue seeping into clothing production until a fully sustainable solution is invented. In the meantime, Stuart Berman seeks to make the biggest impact by reducing plastic’s impact on the planet.

Fully ridding the world of plastic is as yet unrealistic, so our brand follows the 80/20 rule from the materials we use to the products we create, reducing demand for unsustainable materials and their waste all the while maximizing upcycling clothes with calculated purpose.

While many environmentally conscious clothing companies donate to environmental causes, we at Stuart Berman believe in making clothes that are better for the environment while donating to charitable causes that help people facing mental and emotional challenges. In this way, we make clothing that helps the world, and the people on it.

Being Human

People help each other, but when industries join in on the humanity, it has the power to spread those good deeds far and wide. Stuart Berman is born out of the desire to show respect to our planet, and as human beings, how we feel from one day to the next is more important in that role than we know. At some point in our lives, we all struggle with mental health issues that can affect our outlook and actions. That’s why a part of the proceeds from our sales are donated to charitable organizations that help people affected by mental illness, so we can look out for each other, as we look out for the world together.
